Ledgent is seeking an experienced Sales Assistant for a client in SE Houston.

Position is 100% in office in the SE Houston area.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm

Pay: $22 - $23 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is assigned to work with one or more Account Sales personnel to develop and secure purchase orders from customer accounts.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintaining professional relationships with customers through ongoing excellent customer service.
• Assist with entering sales quotes and order information
• Order Entry, Change orders or RMA's
• Reporting
• Responsible for Accounts Receivable collections for invoice payments

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Direct experience in a sales and or customer service oriented work environment
• Strong knowledge in Excel and Oracle
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening skills.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
• High level of professionalism.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to procedure and protocol changes
